I love playing with string, and I’m fascinated by tablet weaving. I’m particularly interested in reversible patterns for belts and bag straps. I’ve also developed a passion for designing patterns. When creating new designs, I look at many sources for inspiration. For example: digitised manuscripts, museum collections, and nature photography.
For a long time, I didn’t photograph finished projects before giving them away. I didn’t record techniques I learned or organise my research. I didn’t want to write – I wanted to make things!
